We have proudly been a part of the Odenton community for over a century, helping to make good men better and in turn, improving our community. We are part of the oldest fraternal organization in the world and we exist to promote the improvement of the character of our members.
Our Mission
Freemasonry provides an outlet for men of different cultural, religious, social, and financial backgrounds to meet and share a common bond of Brotherhood, to help each other when relief is needed, and to bring us all closer to truth via education and high moral standards. These are the tenants of Freemasonry.
Our Lodge
Odenton Lodge #209 was chartered in 1908 by several members of other local Lodges. Our charter is under the Grand Lodge of Maryland, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.
WHat we do:
We meet several times a month in an official capacity to conduct Masonic business, confer degrees, provide education and mentoring to our members…
We support several charities such as scholarship programs, clothing drives, a child identification program…
Hold several public meals a month as fundraising events…
Participate in family-oriented events including sponsoring events for our member’s families and friends.
Attend fun activities and outings to promote fellowship and Brotherly Love.
Participate in events in other Masonic jurisdictions (“traveling”), including conferences and meetings.
