Congratulations ! Fellow Craft Proficiency – Brother Mark Martinez and Brother Shane Wolfe

At the Stated Communication of February 15th, 2017, Brother Mark Martinez  and Brother Shane Wolfe underwent their proficiency examination for the “Fellow Craft Degree.”  The examination was conducted by Brother William Ujvari. Both were found by the Brethren present at the communication to be proficient, and are now eligible to be “raised” to the “Sublime Degree of Master Mason.”

Congratulations Bro. Mark Andrew Martinez

At the Stated Communication of February 15th, 2017, Bro. Mark Andrew Martinez was “raised” to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The degree work was headed up by Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. with the “3rd Degree Charge” being delivered by Brother William Ujvari.

Stated Communication – February 15, 2017

During the Stated Communication held on February 15th, 2017, Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. presided over the weekly business meeting of Odenton Lodge No. 209, and welcomed all the Brothers and guests to this fraternal gathering.

Bro. Mark Martinez and Bro. Shane Wolfe stood their Fellowcraft Proficiency.  Bro. William Ujvari conducted the examination. The Brethren balled on the proficiency, and having found it fair in the South, West and East, Bro. Mark Martinez and Bro. Shane Wolfe were then found to be eligible to be raised to the “Sublime Degree of Master Mason.” Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. and the Brethren congratulated Bro. Mark Martinez and Bro. Shane Wolfe on passing their proficiency.

Bro. Mark Martinez was then raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. presided over the degree work. Bro. William Ujvari read the charge. Bro. Mark Martinez met Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. and Junior Deacon William Ujvari west of the altar where he presented them with gifts, as a token of appreciation for all they have done to get him to this evening prior to his deployment to Afghanistan.

Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. and the Brethren congratulated Bro. Mark Martinez our newest “Master Mason.”

There being no further business facing the membership, the Lodge was closed in peace and harmony with the Brethren retiring to the dining hall for refreshments.

Stated Communication – February 1, 2017

During the Stated Communication held on February 1, 2017, Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. presided over the weekly business meeting of Odenton Lodge No. 209, and welcomed all the Brothers and guests to this fraternal gathering.

Mr. Christopher Wertz and Mr. Joshua Ford were initiated as Entered Apprentices. Worshipful Master pro tempore SW Kenn Adams presided over the degree work. Bro. William Ujvari read the charge. Worshipful Master pro tempore SW Kenn Adams and the Brethren congratulated our newest Brothers and welcomed them.

There being no further business facing the membership, the Lodge was closed in peace and harmony with the Brethren retiring to the dining hall for refreshments.

Stated Communication – January 18, 2017

During the Stated Communication held on January 18th, 2017, Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. presided over the weekly business meeting of Odenton Lodge No. 209, and welcomed all the Brothers and guests to this fraternal gathering.

Brother Kalan Patrick Turner stood his Entered Apprentice Proficiency.  Bro. William Ujvari conducted the examination. The Brethren balled on the proficiency, and having found it fair in the South, West and East, Bro. Turner is now eligible to be passed to the 2nd of the the three degrees of Masonry. Worshipful Master E.J. Hanlon Jr. and the Brethren congratulated Bro. Turner on passing his proficiency.

Stated Communication – January 7th, 2017

During the Stated Communication held on January 7th 2017, Worshipful Master Cort Bossert presided over the “Open Installation of Officers” of Odenton Lodge No. 209 for 2017, and welcomed all the Brothers and guests to this fraternal gathering open to the public. Worshipful Master Cort Bossert closed the Lodge of Sorrow and dismissed committees.

Worshipful Master-Elect E.J. Hanlon Jr. was then installed as Worshipful Master, in which due form he presided over the installation of his 2017 Officer Line.

The Charge to the Lodge and Public Proclamation was given by Past Master John Ertel. Worshipful Master EJ Hanlon led the Lodge in opening a Lodge of Sorrow. There was a presentation of gifts. PM Cort Bossert presented Bro. Secretary Brian Coons and Junior Deacon William Ujvari each with a “2016 Master’s Award” for outstanding service to Lodge. Grand Inspector James T Hill congratulated the newly elected officers, and extended the warmest of fraternal greetings from the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Maryland, Kostus “Gus” Vorvoulus.

There being no further business claiming the attention of this Open Installation, the Lodge was closed in peace and harmony.
